Synopsis
Robert Louis Stevenson's thrilling saga of a young man man's quest for his rightful inheritance bursts upon the screen in this remarkable Disney adaption.

Oscar® winner Peter Finch (network) and James MacArthur star in this swashbuckling saga brimming with intrigue and adventure. Young David Balfor (MacArthur) is on his way to America to claim his huge inheritance. But David's devious uncle, who is next in line for the fortune, has the boy kidnapped and placed on board a brig crossing the Atlantic. When the brig rams a small boat, the boat's sole survivor (Finch) unexpectedly becomes David's most loyal ally. Together they face the fiercest of adversaries, including the ships's captain, his crew and a host of ruthless Redcoats, before finally confronting the youth's treacherous relative.

Filmed in the majestic Scottish Highlands, Disney's Kidnapped, with its swordplay, storms at sea, and heroic bravery, is a classic adventure of epic proportions!
