Synopsis
When Zunar SJ190 Doric fourseven, or, in earth talk, Jake The Cat (Rumple The Cat) crash-lands his spaceship on earth, he has 36 hours to repair it and lift off or he will be stuck on earth forever.

in no time, Jake enlists the help of offbeat physicist Dr. Frank Wilson (Ken Berry) to fix his spaceship, now being investigated by NASA scientists. While holding one of Jake's spare collars, Frank levitates to the top of the ship and discovers that Jake will need $120,000 in gold in order to return to space!

In a race against time, Jake and Frank attempt to raise the money through supernatural tricks and risky bets. However, when Jake "meets" Dr. Elizabeth bartlett's (Sandy Duncan) cat Lucy Belle, his desire to blast off rom earth weakens and he finds himself entangled in a web of feline love, military protocol and enemy spies.
