Synopsis
It's not your typical dog's life for Liberty, the President's (Fred Willard from AUSTIN POWERS: THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME) spoiled bulldog who lives amidst luxury and attention at the White House. He's got his own chef, a security guard (HOME IMPROVEMENT'S Richard Karn), and there's even an oil painting of Liberty on the White House tour! But just across town, there's Moocher -- a struggling streetwise bulldog who's got a determined dogcatcher (George Wendt from TV's CHEERS) on his tail! When the two dogs accidentally switch places and Moocher is mistakenly dognapped instead of Liberty -- the ransom plot turns into a canine rescue caper that will leave you laughing at dog chases and political races for years to come! Starring "Screamer" and "Petey," the original American Bulldogs from HOMEWARD BOUND -- THE POOCH AND THE PAUPER is one Disney family comedy that gets everyone's vote!
