Synopsis

In the tradition of "Stand By Me," Disney presents LOOKING FOR MIRACLES, an inspirational coming -of-age story about two brothers who dream of a better life and struggle to find it during the course of one memorable summer. At the height of the Depression, 16-year-old Ryan Delaney (Emmy Award Winner Greg Spottiswood) is determined to find work to finance his college education. Bluffing his way through a job interview, he's hired as head counselor at a summer camp. But, just when Ryan's got it made, his mother gives him an ultimatum: Stay home and support the family or take his pesky kid brother to camp. The summer's turn of events becomes an odyssey of self-discovery for these two brothers who learn the heard way how to become best friends.
