Synopsis
Ötökän elämää on kertomus kuhisevasta muurhaiskeosta, joka uhattuna ollessaan oppii yhteistyön voiman. Joka kesä muurhaisyhdyskunta joutuu oman talvivarastonsa lisäksi keräämään ruoan myös laiskoille heinäsirkoille. Kun keksijämuurhainen Flik vahingossa hävittää lahjaviljan, kaksinkertaistaa ilkeä Hopper vaatimuksensa uhaten muuten tuhota koko yhdyskunnan. Muurhaisprinsessa Atta lähettää Flikin kaupunkiin hakemaan avuksi kaikkien aikojen kovimmat soturiötökät, mutta apujoukot paljastuvatkin aivan muuksi ...
