| ''One Hundred and One Dalmatians'' -- ''Sign on the Spotted Line'' Hand-Inked, Hand-Painted, Limited-Edition Cel The joyful arrival of Pongo and Perdita's 15 puppies is interrupted by the sudden appearance of Cruella De Vil. Oblivious to everything but herself, Cruella is unaware that her fountain pen has sprayed Roger Radcliff with some very Dalmatian-like ink spots. Coat-coveting Cruella is determined to buy the puppies at any price, but both Roger and Pongo are steadfast in their resolve to protect the pups. This hand-inked, hand-painted limited-edition cel, combines scenes 54 and 55 from Sequence 3 of ''One Hundred and One Dalmatians.'' This humorous yet dramatic moment portrays both the heroes and the villain of Walt Disney's 17th animated feature. One of Disney's most outrageous villains, the crafty yet fabulously fashionable Cruella De Vil was animated by Marc Davis, one of Walt Disney's legendary team of animators known as the Nine Old Men. Produced at the Walt Disney Ink & Paint Department, this cel features three ink colors and 30 paint colors, and both the cel and the giclee background were created by carefully referencing the original animation drawings and animation background layouts. The result captures the confrontation between man, man's best friend and man's best friend's worst enemy. In addition, a reproduction of the original Cruella De Vil model sheet is included. USA. Certificate of Authenticity. Limited Edition of 200. | |||||||||||||||
